Ognisko: Polish food in Central London

Ognisko, a Polish Members-only club in South Kensington is open to non-members for for lunch and dinner / drinks all week.    The building in which the restaurant / club is set is beautiful and overlooks a communal garden.  The restaurant was very quiet the evening that we visited for dinner.

We ordered most of the  vegetarian dishes on the menu.  The dishes that were ordered were average at best and tasted similar – perhaps the meat heavy dishes would have tasted better?   Given that this was my first time eating Polish food (and vegetarian at that), perhaps it’s worth giving a restaurant another try?!!
