Picpoul de Pinet: Wine Review

Disclaimer:  I was sent a complementary bottle of wine for review, however, all views expressed in this post are mine / Not Just Vegetarian’s.

Roberson Wine sent a bottle of white wine, Terres de Treize Vents, Picpoul de Pinet, Domaine du Lauriers 2013, for a Not Just Vegetarian review.

The Terres de Treize Vents wine was refreshing with a good balance of sweetness and acidity.  It was medium-bodied to full-bodied and felt fruity.  Some may find this wine a tad too sweet for their taste.   I paired it with a grilled asparagus, rocket (arugula), goat cheese and toasted pine nut salad, although I could have had the wine just by itself.  This wine is listed on the Roberson website at £8.95 per bottle – a steal for such a wonderful wine.  It’s a perfect wine for a late summer afternoon lunch!
